Description

Wonderful views of the marsh and ocean. Well equipped kitchen. Spacious oceanfront great room and first floor master bedroom with tile bath and large shower. All floors in the home are now covered with Luxury Vinyl Tile or updated carpets. Ceiling fans throughout. Upstairs sitting area with TV. Oceanfront gated lower deck is 240 square feet. Covered porch upstairs. Charcoal Grill, rockers, and an enclosed hot/cold outdoor shower. BED LINENS PROVIDED (BEDS IN BEDROOMS ONLY) FOR WEEKLY RENTALS. NO TOWELS PROVIDED but can be rented through Coastal Vacation Resorts.

Pet-friendly with payment of pet fee.

Great Place has multiple meanings in this context. Holden Beach is a great place...and Great Place, 763 OBW, is a great place.We had a wonderful time. The weather was great, and so was everything else.

The name says it all: Great Place. That is what it is and what it has been for the many years that we have been staying at Great Place.The weather was absolutely fantastic this trip — I'm assuming that the owners arranged that!?

We have stayed on Oak island for over 20 years, last year d/t covid we ended up staying on Holden Beach because oak island cancelled our reservation. So we have stayed on Holden beach three times now. Will probably be back in September if you have anything available when I can get vacation. I am in health care so vacation time is selective. Hope to be back.

We had reservations on Oak Island that were cancelled for this week d/t covid 19, So happy we got to experience Holden Beach. While we do enjoy the shopping on Oak island, we will defiantly be back to Holden Beach in the near future. The home is wonderful and the location perfect. Had a great relaxing week with our friends. Thank you so much for being open this week.

We have stayed in this property for several years. I love that it is dog friendly. The kitchen is very well equipped which you usually don't find in beach rentals .Holden Beach is so quite and relaxing. It also close to shopping. We will definitely be back!

The name Great Place says it all. We've been staying here for a number of years, and we will continue to do so. The location and beach are fantastic, and the house is family comfortable...and this visit featured a new dishwasher. All of us, including our dog, love Holden Beach and Great Place, a wonderful combination.

We have stayed at Great Place on and off for 10 years. The house is actually too big for our needs now but we like it so much that we keep coming back. I like that it is pet friendly. The house is well maintained and kitchen is well stocked. The beach is very clean and not crowded. We had a great time and didn't want to leave!

We love the continual upgrades and improvements: this year was the new furniture — very comfortable — along with the recent years' walk-in shower, new mattress, new carpet, great new laundry equipment, and on and on. The ambiance has remained while these and other updates took place, which is no small accomplishment.We're sad to be leaving Holden Beach and Great Place, but we're already looking forward to next year — and, yes, we have Great Place already reserved!

My family has vacationed on Holden Beach many times. We have stayed in homes on the beach and on the canal. You can not go wrong with either choice. Our choice this year was on the beach. We stayed in "Great Place". The name was spot on. There were 10 of us and the home provided us with everything we needed for a great week on the beach. The house itself provided a first level bedroom with a walk-in shower for our mom who was unable to do stairs/tubs easily. All the bedrooms were great. although, the ceiling fan in the twins(beds) bedroom did not work. The house was cool enough without it so we did not call management about it. The kitchen was tocked with various items to make cooking/eating in hassle free. The house is located near several putt putts, go-carts, restaurants, grocery, and a short road trip to Southport will take you to the ferry over to Fort Fisher where the Aquarium is located. Or stay on Holden Beach staying in "Great Place" was a very enjoyable and memorable vacation.

Been coming to Holden staying in Ocean Front / Pet Friendly homes for over 15 years.Great Place is my wife's favorite layout, so we will be coming back in 2017.Would suggest a water line at the end of the boardwalk for washing sand from feet.

Also I asked for help in taking heavy bags up the steps and the front desk was accommodating to my needs. Thanks for a great week. I plan on returning next year and hope to be in the same house!
