We love King of the Sea! We appreciate the ability to bring our Doodle with us and enjoy morning and evening walks on the beach.. The house was clean and well kept and each bedroom has a private bath - sweet! Outdoor showers (covered and uncovered - wow!) were so convenient. It is also nice the owners allow access to some extra beach gear. We took advantage of the service to put up and take down a tent each day. We had a great time and would love to stay at King of the Sea again!

We have vacationed at King of the Sea for the past three years and we’ve loved every moment. The house is very comfortable and reminiscent of the beach cabins we stayed in many years ago, but updated with modern luxuries. The bathrooms, recently renovated, were a nice surprise this year! The beach is lovely on this part of Holden Beach and the cabin atmosphere is perfect. However, our family is growing, and with a heavy heart, we will be vacationing in a different beach house next year. If we could stay at King of the Sea, we would in a second. It has been one of our favorite places to stay since vacationing on Brunswick County beaches from the mid-1970’s to the present. We are sad to leave but highly recommend King of the Sea to future beach goers.

King of the Sea was charming! Loved all the brand new bathrooms with glass showers! Being pet friendly, first time we’ve ever rented a pet friendly house, it had zero smells! You would never know any pets were inside! All the bedrooms had very nice comforters and the mattresses were new !! We loved the feel of the home and the beautiful dunes and ocean views! The bikes and beach chairs were a huge plus!! We will definitely rent again! Thank you for letting us share King of the Sea!

Rug in bedroom #4 curls up slightly at the corner near the bathroom door. We kept a suitcase over it to avoid tripping. The decor is exceptionally lovely in this beach house! Please thank the owners. Loved the corn hole game and our daughter loved having a bicycle to ride. We were thankful to be able to set up our cabana during the allotted hours.

Very simply put---this home was one of the very few that appears "in person" almost exactly as it appears on-line. No false advertising there....The new back walkway, shower area, and conversation area is top quality. I'd like to know who built it! All in all, King of the Sea exceeded our expectations.

Upon arrival we new we had picked the perfect home for a week. It was well maintained and everything worked! Including a gas grill would be great. Finding a smaller home for a couple and a dog is a challenge. A reduced rate for two (instead of eight) in the house would allow a vacation for us every year. We usually rent every two years. It was a wonderful vacation!!
