Come and enjoy this cute and cozy beach cottage. Only 25 yards to private beach access (between 1105 & 1109 OBW). Enjoy rocking on the covered front porch or back deck. Enclosed hot and cold outside shower with dressing area. Covered parking, picnic table and swing are just a few of the amenities this home offers. WIFI, This is just perfect for small families and couples. BED LINENS PROVIDED (BEDS IN BEDROOMS ONLY) FOR WEEKLY RENTALS. NO TOWELS PROVIDED but can be rented through Coastal Vacation Resorts.

We have been coming to Holden Beach for the past 30 years. Recently on our trips down we have stayed at the Pirates Pride because we really like the floor plan and it being one level. Accessibility to the beachfront is easy.

Our family of five (two adults and three children) rented “Pirates Pride” from June 24 – July 1, 2017. The property was on quiet Frigate Dr. and has private beach access directly across the street, which was a huge bonus. We also discovered that the property was about four miles removed from the bridge over the intercoastal waterway, which we learned was a major benefit because of the little to no traffic and safety for the kids. Four miles from the bridge may appear to be a lot, but it is a quick trip to the grocery store if you forget something. It was also a nice bike ride to the ice cream shop after a long day at the beach. As for the house itself…it was perfect and did not disappoint. If you want to eliminate the house after looking at the pictures, please don’t, and continue reading. The décor of the house is right out of 1980, and to be honest, it brought me back to my childhood. There are two dining tables, with the larger being perfect for our family meals and game nights. Everything in the house is in perfect working order (e.g., refrigerator, ice maker, microwave, coffee pot, toaster, A/C, wifi). The oven temperature runs a little high; however, by using an oven thermometer, you are good to go. The house is well furnished and the kitchen has everything you need. I do recommend bringing a few kitchen items that you are familiar with. I enjoy cooking, so I never leave for a week without a few of my trusted tools. Some added bonuses are the following, spacious rooms, very clean, great front deck and back porch, outdoor shower, bed linens (for week long rentals), washer and dryer, and there is not a cleaning fee. Also, there is plenty of storage under the house as we traveled with a surfboard, two boogie boards, five beach cruisers, an EZ-Up, and plenty of beach toys for spending all day on the sand. There are a few inexpensive rental groups if you forget any beach equipment, which was wonderful since we forgot to pack our beach chairs and were able to rent some for the week. Overall, we would rent the property again, as it allowed us to continue our yearly vacation on the east coast. One final note, I do recommend reaching out to the owner, as he was more than helpful and willing to answer any questions that came to mind. I hope you all enjoy “Pirates Pride” as much as we did.

We have stayed at Pirate's Pride many times. It is just the right size for 2 people. Great kitchen and living room- very sunny. And so close to the beach- just across the street.

We may have to chose another property because of an increase in the number of people coming with us in the future. We will always consider Holden Beach and using Coastal Vacation Resorts in our future beach plans.

My stay was very enjoyable, the house is super nice and true to the pictures posted on the website. The two porches make it very pleasurable to sit outside any time of day. The layout of the house is in such a way that you are not right on top of each other, yet you can be together when you so choose. The walk to the beach was easily assessable. The owner and realtor are super to work with. I will definitely stay here again.
